The mask has slipped once again on Britain’s state broadcaster. Newly published figures from the BBC’s annual pay gap report reveal that white workers are paid significantly less than their minority ethnic counterparts in almost every single salary band across the corporation.

Funded by a coercive TV licence fee that taxes ordinary British households under threat of prosecution, the BBC is actively operating internal pay disparities that reward ideological dogma while systematically disadvantaging native workers.

According to the broadcaster’s official data, the salary disparity reaches an extraordinary 13.2 per cent at the lowest pay grade, where minority ethnic staff receive substantially higher median hourly wages.

The gap persists right through the organisational hierarchy, with minority ethnic senior leaders taking home 5.4 per cent more than white peers in equivalent positions. Similar pay premiums are awarded across disabled management roles and senior LGBTQ+ staff. These figures reveal the real-world consequence of institutionalised diversity targets, where merit and public service take a back seat to identity politics.

To justify these disparities, the BBC points to its aggressive diversity strategies, which set explicit representation targets across every tier of employment. While executive spokesmen claim these programs do not influence individual pay decisions, the outcome speaks for itself.

Specialised career development schemes, targeted mentoring programmes, and quota-driven recruitment have created a two-tier workplace where state funding is deployed to engineering demographic outcomes rather than rewarding genuine competence and dedication.

This internal discrimination mirrors the ideological bias that British taxpayers see on screen every single day. Major independent reviews have already warned that the BBC routinely shoehorns forced diversity into historical dramas and news coverage, erasing native British history and replacing authentic culture with artificial political messaging.

The state broadcaster no longer exists to serve, inform, or represent the British people; it functions as a subsidised propaganda machine that penalises the very population paying for its existence.

The British Democrats stand for a complete overhaul of state media and the absolute restoration of fairness. We advocate the immediate abolition of the compulsory TV licence fee, ending the legal coercion that forces working families to fund an institution that actively discriminates against them.

Public institutions must operate strictly on merit, equal treatment, and genuine service to the national interest. It is time to defund the BBC, reject institutional anti-white bias, and put the interests of the British people first.
