It is clear that Labour wants to heavily tax hardworking Britons to increase government spending: but how much of these payouts actually goes to foreign nationals?

Figures released by the Department for Work and Pensions reveal that households with foreign nationals received a record £11.9 billion in Universal Credit last year. That is up from £9.5 billion in 2024 and £7.5 billion in 2023, with more than half of the payments going to jobless claimants.
According to data obtained by the Centre for Migration Control, about one in six Universal Credit payments over the last year went to households with foreign nationals.
It is also worth remembering that these figures do not even account for the billions wasted every year on the asylum industry.
Is it any wonder our national debt is increasing and taxation is going through the roof?
British taxpayers cannot keep bankrolling a broken system: Britain’s welfare state should be a safety net for our own citizens, not an international cash machine. The British Democrats will redress that balance.
